Valerie Greene’s Speaking Engagements

In honor of Heart month, The Central Florida Women’s League, is pleased to announce Valerie Greene as the guest speaker. Having survived two strokes at age 31 that paralyzed her body and robbed her ability to speak, she spent years regaining and refining her abilities. Now a worldwide symbol of hope and advocate for stroke awareness, Valerie tells her own gripping story and demonstrates the power of the human spirit when faced with adversity. Valerie teaches ways to prevent a stroke and how to recognize the symptoms. Stroke kills 2.5 times more women than breast cancer. Every woman must be made aware. Valerie will be the keynote speaker for the St. Cloud Regional Medical Center Advisory Board of Trustees’ Retreat, to be held the weekend of September 26. In addition to the Board and Senior Leadership Team, the retreat will be attended by elected officials, business and community leaders and leadership from the hospital’s parent company Health Management Associates, Inc.
